VoyageurBad news is that we have another delay - "Flight UA949 from London to San Francisco is delayed because of an unexpected airport facility or equipment issue. It now departs at 2:10pm on December 23. We're sorry for the delay and are working to get you on your way."

VoyageurNo, but it should be fine without one. They survive at room temperature for a couple of months at least, if they're wrapped well.
