ViajanteIs it similar to Kyoto? I think you visited Kyoto during previous visit...
ViajanteSimilar, but I think I like Nikko best. Of course it was too hot when I visited Kyoto, and lovely and cold here.
ViajanteI bet there are less tourists in Nikko. And if it similar, making a note what to visit when I'm in Japan 😊

Staying in a Ryoken

Still up in the mountains, within the Nikko National Park. Kiyomi and I are staying in a traditional, centuries old, Japanese Ryoken.

A light but herbal beer. Very refreshing and unique. This is brewed by the famous Kanaya Hotel. Like all things Nikko, the monkeys are on the label.

Strange flight path, a lot of flying in circles.
Time to start my second Saturday. I left Tokyo at 5:30 pm on Saturday and after 8 hours, it's 9:20 am on Saturday. I'll be so tired by end of today 😴
ViajanteFast recovery 😊 The flight way is because Russia sky is close for foreign planes and it's a huge problem for Asian airlines except Chinese as they doubling km on it's way. Hopefully it wasn't that bad overall
ViajanteNo, I think yes it's all about San Francisco air traffic control. The flight was normal until we got here
ViajanteOh, maybe yes. As I saw on the flight to Turkey, they found the corridor which works for everyone
