    Corfu Ormos Garitsas

    Syvota Gallikos Molos to Corfu Ormos Garitsas. Aah Corfu. Heading North and our days in Greece are now limited. I love Corfu Old Town and shopping if course. Excellent small stores with goid leather goods and traditional Greek knick knacks. Time to eat Gyros sitting on the fountain steps. A wonderful thunderstorm with strong out of nowhere gusts on the south of Corfu with enough disturbance to send our electronic equipment haywire.

    You can swim in the bay but there is sea weed so the water is murky. Anchor in 3.5m. Good access to AB supermarket and laundry of course 😉

    Ormos Garitsas to Ormos Potamou. With the crazy swell in Corfu bay it's time to head around the corner to Potamou. As I said, mother nature and shopping - a Lidl of course!!! And up the river access in our dinghy!!! Lunch with Pete and Mel that we haven't seen since we met each other in 2021 in Ithaka and sundowners with Donald and Anne from Scotland. What a magical day. I love the cruising live-aboard community 💙🔱🙏

    Kerasia

    Ormos Potamou to Kerasia. With the strong NW forecast as a light southerly, the plan to head North to see Kassiopi tiwnshd was thus was abandoned for another day. Heading back south and consulting Navily, the bay of Kerasia was chosen and an anchor on a bouy as the bays on this side of the north east island are very deep and covered with seaweed. Good access to shore for a magical run

    Avlaki Bay

    Kerasia to Avlaki Bay. Just because we are stubborn - it's time to try again. Very special anchorage with a afternoon north west for 3 hours. First night anchored in the main bay and day 2 moved to a finally bay facing a nudist beach. What fun. Had to take the drone footage before they arrived for the day. A good run to Kassiopi because the dinghy rude was too far 🤣, even if I cried for two hours (a sad Nessy day). Got to keep moving!!

    Croatia Cavtat 🇭🇷

    A first - a check-in at Cavtat. We are here. Three months of beautiful Croatia. Always mixed feelings when arriving around the sailing in Croatia and processes so the anxiety levels are always high till we have completed everything. Cavtat is a really pretty town. Dropped anchor in 7.5m (seaweed and mud) in a place where everyone drags but we seem to be holding after much testing. Good sailing and a quick trip - only one night due to the run and following swell. GypsyDjango runs very well even if she does not hold her line and swerves a little.Les mer

    Hvar Nedomisalj

    Vrboska to Nedomisalj. A beautiful wild anchorage after the busy Vrboska. Only locals and us of course. 11m with 50 chain and Hausers (lines) ashore. Great to relax and enjoy the quiet. In bays like this you whisper and don't play music. The music is the water and the cicadas. Small house and cave on the side. Not great signal.Les mer

    Solta Sesula

    Pakleni Uvala Tarsce to Solta Balkun to Sesula. After watching a boat filled with 6 German naked men suntanning drunk drifting towards the rocks across the bay over 30 minutes and having to pick up our anchor we advised them they might want to pay attention. Croatia is filled with idiots. Then to watch a speed boat driving forward at top speed nearly driving over children on sups as the driver was so inebriated, we finally tied to shore for a beautiful evening in Sesula bay. A walk into Maslinica to watch the sunset from the pier wall ended a perfect day.Les mer

    Corfu Gouvia Bay

    Croatia Srebreno to Corfu Gouvia Bay. A crazy trip with very strong winds. Trying to re-anchor in that climb that itchy scratchy mountain bay, we just could not get grip so exhausted we finally settled here, 43 hours later and happy to be in Greece 🇬🇷. At least we have access to the Gouvia marine store and life jackets which they had kept for us without asking or a deposit for 4 months ✨✨✨Les mer

    Gaios to 2 Rock Bay. After the perfect trip to the Tripitos Arch, back to mainland she a very special bay. love this bay so much. Good to be here with people that appreciate it so much. Michele and group made the most of getting to shore for cocktails - no snorkeling for them 😜Les mer
