    Myrtos beach to Strega Beach. Line.ashore into the swell. Amazing!!! There are not enough words to describe our new favourite location. 4/5 stars because of the multitude of wasps that truly want to live on you. Avoiding being stung was a challenge. Anchor with lines ashore and many day trippers. Excellent hard hot run. A run in Greece isn't a run without the gates we have to climb.Meer informatie

    Trapezaki beach

    Strega Beach to Trapezaki Beach. 7.29 hours. Anchor in 4.5m. because of the wind we put out 45m of chain and we are the only boat swinging in the vicinity. Wind guests of 26 and that anchor is holding tight. A little swell. A nice hike in the river bed. We are here because of wing foiling but it just isn't happening. Very strong winds on approach and a good sail. Bonus when you are heading south on a NW.

    Ormos Antisamos

    Skala to Ormos Antisamos . After a horrific horrible night of tremendous swell we left at 6am heading for lefkada. Neither engine started because of 9 days in 3 anchorages and sailing only in between. Unfortunately the supposedly light NW winds were N and way stronger. In desperation we came here to avoid motor tacking up the canal. Bumped into a saffer skipper in a motor yacht while anchoring. Anchor in 8m with 35m out in the corner on dubious ground that held well 😉. The wasps are back!!Meer informatie

    Vasliki Bay

    Bathyabali Bay to Lefkada Vasliki. Time for wing foiling and wind surfing. And a fat lip. Moving from here was a big mistake and a necessitated return of 12 hours, after discovering the floating rotating nautical bridge is closed. (The Lefkada bridge is closed due to the expiration of its General Inspection Protocol certificate, which is essential for its operation as a seaworthy structure. This certificate expired on July 13 and was not renewed due to maintenance delays and issues with contractor procurement. Until the bridge is repaired or replaced, maritime traffic is being diverted to sail around the island). Really? They didn't know it would expire and they couldn't extend it? So a detour around this not so small island for all?

    Only 2 nights here in Vasiliki as this time we have had just enough of the wind in this katabatic bay evidenced by our ruined flag because of the 32 knot winds until 1 am every night. I guess that's why they windsurf here 😂    Meer informatie

    Milos Beach

    Vasliki beach to Egremni to Milos Beach. When your mind simply cannot understand what your eyes are seeing. The water from the milestone is a brilliant blue. So it was time to bring out the drone and alter our plans to anchor along the way to enjoy the beauty of the water and the caves. It's times like this when I reconfirm we need to be following this journey a while longer.

    2 lines ashore and anchor in 6 to 7 metres. Good sand and GypsyDjango's nose into the constant swell from the exposed west coast of the Ionians.    Meer informatie

    Greece Syvota to Sarande Albania. Great sailing conditions and fortunately at a decent angle. Time to go and play on shore in the Jungle rooftop bar. Civilization - very rare and very strange 🍹
