After breakfast, we set off to climb the hill to take the funicular to the summit of Monserrate Mountain, which overlooks Bogota. We were already at altitude, so some of our group struggled with theLue lisÀÀ

All downtown Bogotá, south Bogotá, and some sections of the north of the city are visible from the top of the mountain. We were lucky that the weather was clear enough to see the views.
