Dubrovnik Old Town is full of tourists.

I’ve never watched Game of Thrones, but walking around Dubrovnik’s Old Town makes me think a whole lot of people have. It is an ancient place right on the Adriatic coast that is in amazingly good condition, and it is just crawling with tourists - many of whom were presumably there thanks to the popular show. It’s busyness is definitely not my cup of tea, but it still offered many interesting scenes to photograph. We managed to ditch the crowds by climbing a long flight of stone steps to a high place just inside the city’s upper wall, where we found a lovely little outdoor cafe called Lady Pi Pi (signage said closed if raining, but it was certainly not rainy - it was sunny and hot). And I am in awe of the color of the Adriatic’s waters. Czytaj więcej
