The tangled roots of a giant banyan tree have fully reclaimed the ruins of this abandoned warehouse.

According to the Taiwan’ folklore, banyan aerial roots represents negative energies. Local residents stayed away from this warehouse because they believed there were strong negative energies within. For many years, this place was known as the “Haunted House”, and become a mystery place for the local residents!

The Anping Treehouse in Tainan is a cool fusion of nature and man-made structures literally intertwined with one another. The Anping Treehouse in Tainan is a large banyan tree that over the years has literally swallowed an old warehouse that once belonged to Tait & Co Merchant House.

After World War II, in the 1940’s, the warehouse was used for a short time by the Taiwan Salt Corporation but was soon abandoned afterwards. Once no longer in use, the banyan tree went to work and spread its branches and roots forming a spectacular scene for the next 70 years.

Die verworrenen Wurzeln eines riesigen Banyanbaums haben die Ruinen dieses verlassenen Lagerhauses vollständig zurückerobert.

Laut der taiwanesischen Folklore repräsentieren Banyan-Luftwurzeln negative Energien. Die Anwohner hielten sich von diesem Lager fern, weil sie glaubten, dass es starke negative Energien im Inneren gab. Viele Jahre lang war dieser Ort als "Spukhaus" bekannt und wurde zu einem mysteriösen Ort für die Anwohner!

Das Anping-Baumhaus in Tainan ist eine coole Verschmelzung von Natur und künstlichen Strukturen, die buchstäblich miteinander verflochten sind. Das Anping-Baumhaus in Tainan ist ein großer Banyanbaum, der im Laufe der Jahre buchstäblich ein altes Lagerhaus verschluckt hat, das einst zum Tait & Co Merchant House gehörte.

Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg, in den 1940er Jahren, wurde das Lager für kurze Zeit von der Taiwan Salt Corporation genutzt, aber bald darauf aufgegeben. Als der Banyanbaum nicht mehr in Gebrauch war, ging er an die Arbeit und breitete seine Äste und Wurzeln aus und bildete für die nächsten 70 Jahre eine spektakuläre Szene.Read more
