    On our way to Yogyakarta. Nice scenery and spacies seats. Indonesian trains are definitely to recommend ;)

    Mit viel Beinfreiheit und toller Aussicht unterwegs nach Yogyakarta. Zug fahren auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert ;)

    Piękne widoki za oknem i wygodne miejsca w drodze do Yogyakarty. Indonezyjskie pociągi są z pewnością godne polecenia ;)    En savoir plus

    Sunrise at the volcano

    After a 12h bus ride from Yogyakarta we finally reached our accomodation at Mount Bromo. Just a couple hours of sleep later we've experienced the sunrise with a stunning view over the volcano with a following hike to the top of it - definitely an highlight of the trip :)

    Nach einer 12 stündigen Busfahrt von Yogyakarta erreichten wir unsere Unterkunft in unmittelbarer Nähe des Mount Bromos. Wenige Stunden später, gegen 3 Uhr morgens ging es dann zum Sunrise Look Point und danach zum Krater des Vulkans. Auf jeden Fall ein Highlight des Trips :)

    Po 12 h w busie z Yogyakarty, nareszcie dotarliśmy do naszego hostelu na górze Bromo. Dosłownie pare godzin później, o 5 rano mogliśmy oglądać piękny wschód słońca nad wulkanem. Zdecydowanie jedna z najlepszych chwil naszej podróży :)    En savoir plus

    Hiking up Mount Ijen

    Our last stop on Java was the volcanic lake Ijen. Once again we got up at 3 am to hike up the mountain. 1,5h and 550 height meters later we reached the crater lake with impressive views of the scenery. Next stop Bali!

    Unser letzter Stop auf Java war der Vulkan See Ijen. Noch ein mal um 3 Uhr morgens raus und los ging die Wanderung. 1,5h und 550 Höhenmeter später erreichten wir den Kratersee und genossen die beeindruckende Aussicht. Nächster Halt Bali!

    Na nasz ostatni przystanek na wyspie Jawa wybraliśmy wulkan Ijen. Tak więc kolejny raz wstaliśmy o 3 rano by wspiąć się na wulkan. 1,5 h i 550 m wys. później zdobyliśmy szczyt, w towarzystwie pięknych widoków. Następny przystanek Bali!    En savoir plus

    After one week of a lot traveling we got to Bali today! Pemuteran, a small village in the north, is our first stop. We finally had some time on the beach and in the water. It's also supposed to be one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. Have a look...

    Nach einer Woche mit vielen Reisekilometern erreichten wir heute Bali. Unser erster Stop ein kleines Dorf namens Pemuteran. Endlich Strand und Wasser! Der Ort gilt auch als Balis bester Spot zum Schnorcheln...

    Po tygodniowym intensywnym podróżowaniu dotarliśmy do Bali! Jako nasz pierwszy przystanek wybraliśmy małą wioskę, Pemuteran. I nareszcie możemy wypocząć na pięknych plażach. To miasteczko to także świetny punkt dla wycieczek snorklingowych. Sprawdźcie sami...    En savoir plus

    Monkey Forest Ubud

    Today we've visited the Monkey Forest Sanctuary in Ubud. A beautiful scenery with more than 600 monkeys living there. Such interesting animals!

    Heute besuchten wir den Affenwald in Ubud. Ein Kleiner Dschungel der über 600 Affen beheimatet. Sehr interessant die Tieren so hautnah zu beobachten.

    Dzisiaj odwiedziliśmy małpie sanktuarium w Ubud, w którym żyje ponad 600 małp. To jedne z najbardziej interesujących zwierząt!    En savoir plus

    Discovering Bali's countryside on bikes, including rice fields and a luwak coffee plantage.

    Auf kultureller Entdeckungstour durch das ländliche Bali bei der wir Einblicke in die Produktion des berühmten Luwak Kaffees erhielten, an Reisefeldern vorbei kamen und mehr über den Hinduismus lernten - und das Ganze auf dem Fahrrad.

    Around Ubud

    This time we tried the asian way of getting around - scooter! We took a ride to see Goa Gajah Temple, Tegenungan Waterfall and a local beach.

    Heute haben wir uns an Asiens Transportmittel Nummer 1 gewagt. Für ca. 4€ haben wir uns einen Rollet gemietet und sind etwas rumgedüst. Goa Gajah Tempel, Tegenungan Wasserfall und ein Strand an dem ausschließlich Einheimische waren, stand auf dem Plan.

    Tym razem spróbowaliśmy azjatyckiego sposobu na szybkie przemieszczanie się- skuter! Dzięki temu zrobiliśmy mały kurs po okolicy zwiedzając przy tym świątynię Goa Gajah, Wodospad Tegenungan i lokalną plażę.    En savoir plus

    Baby sea turtles

    A really cool event organized by Bali Sea Turtle Society to help release baby sea turtles to their natural habitat :)

    Mit Hilfe von Freiwilligen werden am Kuta Beach Baby Schildkröten kurz nach ihrer Geburt in ihre natürliche Umgebung gesetzt und auf ihren ersten Metern lautstark unterstützt :)

    Super wydarzenie zorganizowane przez BSTS, organizację, która pomaga małym żółwiom morskim powrócić do ich naturalnego środowiska :)    En savoir plus

    Snorkeling on Gili

    An amazing snorkeling spot between Gili Islands. We were even lucky to see a sea turtle!

    Gili Islands, ein richtig cooler Spot zum Schnorcheln. Wir hatten sogar Glück und konnten mit einer Schildkröte tauchen!

    Wyspy Gili, jeden z najlepszych miejsc do snorkelingu. I przy okazji mieliśmy sporo szczęścia, gdyż udało nam się spotkać żółwia morskiego!

    Gili Air

    Smaller, more quiet and nicer than Gili Trawangan. The pictures speak for themselves. And so easy to explore just by bike!

    Kleiner, ruhiger und schöner als Gili Trawangan. Die Bilder sprechen für sich. Und so einfach mit dem Fahrrad zu erkunden!

    Mniejsza, spokojniejsza i zdecydowanie ładniejsza wyspa niż Gili Trawangan. Zdjęcia mówią same ze siebie :) I dodatkowo bardzo łatwo i przyjemnie można zwiedzić całą wyspę na rowerze!    En savoir plus

    Eine der schönsten Insel auf der wir waren! Wunderschöne Küsten, weite Sandstrände, wilde Natur und interessante Einblicke in das Leben der Sasak Dorfbewohner.

    Back to Bali

    One more time Bali. Our last stop in Indonesia: Bukit Peninsula in the south of Bali. We explored a lot of beaches, visited the traditional Kecak Dance on the famous Uluwatu temple and ate a freshly caught fish at the local fishmarket in Jimbaran.

    Nochmal zurück nach Bali. Unser letzter Stop in Indonesien: die Bukit Halbinsel im Süden Balis. mit unserem Roller erkundeten wir viele Strände, besuchten den traditionellen Kecak Tanz am berühmten Uluwatu Tempel und aßen frisch gefangenen Fisch auf dem Fischmarkt von Jimbaran.

    I znów Bali. Jako ostatni przystanek w Indonezji wybraliśmy południowy półwysep, Bukit. Zwiedziliśmy sporo ładnych plaż, mogliśmy obejrzeć tradycyjny taniec ognia Kecak w świątyni Uluwatu oraz spróbowaliśmy świeżo złapanej rybki na markecie rybnym w Jimbaran.    En savoir plus

    A city that offers so many things to do! Light shows surrounded by skyscrapers, Marina Bay with amazing Super Trees, Kick scooter city tour, Night Safari at Singapore Zoo, Chinatown, Little India, Botanical Gardens and Sentosa Island.

    Eine Stadt mit unzähligen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten. Lichtershows, Gardens by the Bay, Stadttour mit Cityrollern, Nachtsafari, Chinatown, Little India, Botanische Gärten und Sentosa.

    Jedno miasto a tyle rzeczy do zobaczenia! Pokaz świateł w otoczeniu wieżowców, Marina Bay z niesamowitym ogrodem Super Drzew, zwiedzanie miasta na hulajnogach, Nocne Safari w Zoo, Chinatown, Little India, Ogród Botaniczny i wyspa Sentosa.    En savoir plus

    Back in Germany

    Just landed! It feels nice to be back :)
    We had six great weeks with unforgettable memories and experiences, met some very nice people and got to know the Indonesians and their culture.
    Traveling reminds you everytime again that nothing is for granted and that you should appreciate the things you have more than you do.

    Gelandet! Schön wieder zurück zu sein :)
    Wir hatten sechs unvergessliche Wochen mit unzähligen Erfahrungen, trafen tolle Menschen und lernten die Indonesier und ihre Kultur kennen.
    Reisen erinnert einen jedes Mal daran, dass nichts selbstverständlich ist und dass man das was man zu Hause hat mehr wertschätzen sollte als man es tut.

    Właśnie wylądowaliśmy! Dobrze być z powrotem:) Dużo wspomnień i doświadczeń udało nam się zgromadzić przez te 6 tygodni. Ale przede wszystkim mogliśmy poznać Indonezyjczyków i ich bogatą kulturę. Takie podróże uświadamiają co naprawdę jest w życiu ważne i że każdy z nas powinien bardziej doceniać to co ma.    En savoir plus
