Glendalough Monastic Site

We parked at the top lake and wandered down to the monastic site. You will see the nails on the boardwalk and sometimes they had chicken wire on it to stop it being so slippery. You will see in one of the pictures where a couple of tombstones had fallen onto themselves you walk underneath to receive protection from the dead.
One headstone says died at 106 in 1750 !!
