Day 7 Ruyini to Cankuzo to Muyinga

We left Ruyini around 8am. The roads were smooth and undulating and a joy to ride. Just before we got to the national park Zach’s tyre went soft so a new tube was needed. This took slightly longer than than planned! The national park was stunning and a troop of monkeys crossed our path. Then Lewie’s gear cable snapped so another repair stop was needed.

The climb up to Muyinga was quite brutal, but we made it and settled into our hotel for the evening.
