    After dealing with some travel formalities, I found time to explore Lyon! It's such a nice place. I went up the hill to visit the Basilica of Notre Dame de Fourvière, a beautiful place with a stunning view! I also spent a lot of time in the city, especially in the Old Town neighborhood.     We had a jam-packed day visiting some incredible landmarks. We started with the Palace of the Popes, which was fascinating to learn about. Then, we made our way to the famous Pont Saint Benezet, also known as the Avignon Bridge. I couldn't help but dance my way across it, as the song about it played in my head! Next, we visited the Pont du Gard, the oldest and largest Roman aqueduct, which left us very impressed. Finally, on our way back home, we made a quick stop at the Haribo Museum to pick up some delicious candies. It was a day filled with history, fun, and sweets!Read more

    Before heading back home, we spent two wonderful days in Toulouse. On the first day, we explored the main square plaza and admired the beautiful city hall before taking a leisurely stroll around the city.     It was a great week in Brazil. We went out every day and it was really nice to be with the family. I also went to the hair salon with my mom and visited her office one of those days. I went to see my sister at school, watched her play in the band, and she gave me a tour of the mini zoo they have at her school. I already miss them. for the last day, we went to my sister house and I could spend the day with my nephew. Also we had lunch. It is really good restaurant that I can’t remember that name.Read more

    With the family, we visited Mirante do Lago, a charming bar/restaurant overlooking the lake that served delicious food and live music.

    We savored a Bragança Sausage Sandwich, and it was absolutely delightful! I had promised to visit the best sausage restaurant in Braganca Paulista midweek, as this region is renowned for its sausage production.

    And, in fact, it did not disappoint! The sausages here are truly exceptional!

    As promised, they took me to the renowned Bragança Paulista Linguaçaria restaurant to sample the best and most famous sausage in the area. I have to say, it didn't disappoint! Even though I opted for the traditional sausage, it was truly amazing. The flavors were exceptional and unique. To top it off, I discovered a peculiar sauce that combined barbecue with guava and mustard with passionfruit. I absolutely have to make a return visit before leaving Brazil.

    I got the opportunity to snap some photos with my sister, who was feeling a bit embarrassed as I tried to capture the perfect shot. It was quite funny!

  • GUA - A Week in Guatemala City

    I have to say that I was very impressed by Zone 10 in Guatemala City. There were a lot of bars and restaurants that made our week very interesting. We had a variety of food options including American, Guatemalan, Mexican, and Chinese cuisine. Additionally, we took a stroll around the city center and discovered a big mall called Oakland Mall, which had everything we could ask for! We indulged in massages, pedicures, shopping, bowling, and more food. It became a daily routine for us.

    From our Airbnb, we had a nice view of the volcano from the window. With the weekend nearby, we will have a chance to walk and visit more places.
