PHL - First Walking Around

I just arrived in Philadelphia, and after checking in, I set out to explore. First, I sampled the city’s famous cheesecake. Then I wandered down a charming old street and eventually made my way to a pier. I stopped at what I believe is City Hall, a beautiful spot in the heart of the city. On my walk back, I admired some of Philadelphia’s most iconic buildings and strolled along the shopping street, which I think is called Walnut. So far, I’m in love with Philadelphia. PHL - Love Park / Musseum of Art /Reading Terminal

The day started with a great walk around the city, including Love Park. Then, while walking down the street, I saw this beautiful fountain. Right next to it was the Museum of Art, which is very famous because of the movie *Rocky Balboa*. In the afternoon, I went to Reading Terminal Market to have lunch. :)En savoir plus

PHL - Liberty Bell

I visited the Liberty Plaza to see the Liberty Bell. Afterward, I stopped at the Riding market for the best corn beef sandwich I have ever tasted, which was really good! .

PHL - Italian Market Neighbor

I woke up with the feeling of walking, so I went a little bit further than normal , and up to the Italian Market neighborhood where I had a famous Cheesesteak at Geno’s steak. Then I walked all over back, bought a cookie, and sat down at the plaza; it was a lovely morning. 🥰En savoir plus

PHL - Halloween Nights

Tonight was incredible! It was such a fun experience. I visited the penitentiary in Philadelphia with a VIP ticket, which included a private nighttime tour of the prison and access to explore the grounds. I even got to see Al Capone’s cell. Afterward, I checked out the prison’s famous haunted houses. There were five different attractions, and they were amazing. I got really scared, lol 😂. To top it all off, I got to enjoy a beer inside one of the cells. What a great experience!En savoir plus

I rented a bike to explore a little bit the outside of Philadelphia as it has famous paths around :) At night I went to a bar, cheers!

NYC - New York City

I catch up a train from Philadelphia to new York as this is my last day of vacation. On arrival
In NY, I went straight up to get my favorite in New York: a bagel 🥯! Hahahaha, yeah, that's my favorite. Afterward, I felt more relaxed and went for a walk in Times Square, where I ended up at the best—and only—Time Square store of Krispy Kreme, to have a classic doughnut. After that, there was a lot of walking past Rockefeller Building and Plaza, Fifth Avenue, and the surrounding area. Around 2pm, I went to a Texas BBQ restaurant, and it was so good. More walking after that—to the Central Perk Cafe, the street fair market on Avenue of the Americas, and, last of all, Central Park. Then it was time to say goodbye to New York and fly back to Portugal. See you next time, NY ❤️En savoir plus
