MAN - Train Museum

A fact I wasn't aware of is that the steam train was invented in England and in Manchester! So I went to this museum where we could see a bit of this history. This is the first train station and the oldest in the world! Next to it, the tracks over the bridge are still in use, although the station itself is no longer functional. It was a fun place to visit.Les mer

We head up to the Media City, a place near the docks and where the BBC and ITV are located , it is a huge modern complex. After , it was dinnertime and as hungry as we were , we went to the curry street, apparently a place with foreign foods, such as Turkish, Indian and Middle Eastern. It was so good!Les mer

WALES - Pontcyaylite Aqueduct and Canal

Today was a Day Trip , the destination was Wales!! Pontcysylite Aqueduct and Canal was ours first stop , this is the first aqueduct that was served as a Canal in the world, it is a World Heritage Site and we can still see boats crossing the aqueduct.Les mer
