    It's quite a long but smooth flight, with a few minor turbulence. The immigration has a looooong lineup, took 1.5 hours to pass.

    Stayed in Best Western overnight. Early morning we took 10 minutes hotel shuttle bus ride coming back to the airport. Checkin and security check were smooth, except opened my camera bag again.

    Landed right on time, we had a very smooth flight. Tianjin is huge. After checking in to hotel we went out to the street touring the neighbourhood for about an hour. So many stores, so many kinds of delicious stuff. We brought back traditional yogurt in a jar and the famous Tianjin Da Mahua.

    This area has always been famous for delicious food over the past several hundred years. Tourists come from all over the places line up here for hours just to taste Jianbing Guozi, Guobacai and Qiegao to name a few. Too many delicious stuff to list, one would live here for months in order to try out them all.

    South Luogu Lane 南锣鼓巷

    We come to Beijing to meet friends at Shichahai. According to Gaode Map from Beijing South Railway Station we can take subway line 14 transfer to line 8. Following friends’ advised we got off one stop early at South Luogu Lane, strolling the hutong district and walking to the meeting place. The South Luogu Lane area is much commercialized as a tourist attraction, however walking into hutong there are still some old buildings remain.

    The flight was very smooth, and arrived on time. The prearranged driver called me and picked us up from the airport. Soon we were on the way to hotel. The electric car is rather luxurious with 3 large size screens displaying every piece of information of the road, the car and the surroundings.

    Chongqing local cuisine is famous for its hot chilli spiciness. We had a late lunch at this Old Lady Qinyun’s Tantan Noodles recommended by the hotel front desk staff. The “hongshao tihua noodle” Is Super delicious! I asked for the least amount of chilli pepper, it still came red.

    Before dinner we spent a few moments strolling the night market across the street from the hotel. You can find probably every kind of local snacks here, BBQ pork, lamb， seafood and vegetable skewers, cold drinks, and many we cannot name. Extremely nice night view of the city skyline across Changjiang.

    We had full day tour of some of the major landmarks and historical sites. First was Changjiang Cableway.

    Liziba Station, CRT (Chongqing Rail Transit) Line 2
    It is amazing to see monorail trains going in and coming out of a 19 story residential building. The monorail station and the residential building were constructed together as one structure rather than retrofitting. The station is located at 6th to 8th floor, 5th floor and lower are shopping stores, 9th floor and above are apartments.
