Local Miao people are super friendly, the village is clean and well maintained, local food is very delicious, and everywhere is picturesque.

Libo bound road closure due to landslide 荔波方向因塌方断行

According to meteorological records, from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM on June 20, 2026, Xiaoqikong Town in Libo County received 314.5 mm of rainfall in just 6 hours.
Based on the latest official information, the G243 section near Xiaoqikong (Xiaoqikong Town, Libo County) is currently under traffic control due to a landslide. The resumption time is pending as of June 21, 2026.
Our plan has been updated accordingly. For safety reasons we are going to Guilin instead.
根据气象记录，2026年6月20日6时至12时，荔波县小七孔镇在短短6小时内，降雨量达到了314.5毫米。
根据最新信息，G243国道近期部分路段受降雨影响有边坡塌方和交通管制，但也有几处此前中断的路段已恢复通行。最需留意的是荔波县两处塌方，以及凯里市南花村的长期管制。

Infinite Pool 无边泳池

We stayed three nights at the Guilin Exhibition International Boutique Hotel and explored nearby attractions like Xiangbishan (Elephant Trunk Hill) and the Two Lakes & Four Rivers waterway. The hotel’s rooftop infinity pool offers a stunning view of Xiangbishan itself. Even better, the stay includes a poolside photography service—a wonderful bonus.
Photographer Xixi was very experienced, and very patient. She talked us into the mood and captured warm moments.
我们入住桂林会展国际酒店三晚，游览了附近的象鼻山和两江四湖景区。酒店最高层的无边泳池风景极好，从泳池就可以看见象鼻山。酒店住宿包含的泳池拍照服务给我们留下了很好的印象。摄影师西西非常有经验，也很耐心。引导我们进入状态，拍下温馨时刻。Читать далее

Yangshuo - Yulong River 阳朔 - 遇龙河

The Yulong River is the longest tributary of the Li River in Yangshuo. It is 15.36 kilometers long, 38 to 61 meters wide, and 0.5 to 2 meters deep. The river retains its original natural scenery, with 28 weirs along the course. On both banks stand ancient bridges from the Ming and Qing dynasties and the ruins of Guiyi County. Experts have recognized it as a world-class natural heritage. The scenic area has no modern buildings or artificial carvings, presenting the pastoral landscape of karst landforms. The main way to explore is by bamboo rafting.
We arrived at Jima Wharf hoping to do the bamboo rafting, only to find out there’s an age limit – and we didn’t qualify. No helping it, so we rented an electric sidecar for a joyride. Honestly, it turned out to be really cool and lots of fun.
遇龙河是漓江在阳朔最长的支流，全长15.36公里，河宽38至61米，水深0.5至2米。河道保留原始自然风貌，有28道堰坝。两岸有明清古桥和归义县遗址。专家认定其为世界级自然遗产。景区没有现代建筑和人工雕琢，呈现喀斯特地貌田园风光。主要游览方式是竹筏漂流。
我们到了骥马码头坐竹筏漂流，结果发现那里有年龄限制——我们超龄了，不符合条件。没办法，就租了一辆电动边三轮兜风。说实话，后来发现这也很好玩。Читать далее

G72 HW Xinxing Service Station G72高速公路新兴服务区

On G72 Quannan Highway from Yangshuo to Nanning, we stopped at Xinxing Service Station for a bio-break and a quick stretch. It was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, offering large washrooms, driver rest areas, laundry facilities, restaurants, and shops. There, I spotted a cute, fluffy little puppy so eager to play—absolutely adorable.
今天离开阳朔沿G72泉南高速前往南宁。中途在新兴服务区停下来放松一下，还去洗手间。服务区里面宽敞明亮，干净整洁，维护得很好。里面有宽大的洗手间，为跑长途司机们准备的休息室，洗衣房，餐厅和小商场。

Tingzi Farmers Market 亭子农贸市场

This farmers market runs on Sunday mornings. It occupies almost two sections of an extremely busy street in the city centre. Crazy. You can find many kinds of snacks, drinks, vegetables, fruits, herbs, teas, flowers, hand crafted household items and much more. There are even some pets like kittens,puppies, rabbits, turtles and little ducklings.

Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area 青秀山景区

Today we visited the Qingxiu Mountain scenic area, located in the heart of Nanning. Covering approximately 14 square kilometers and boasting a green coverage rate of 98%, it is a natural urban oxygen bar. The scenery is beautiful and pleasant, with both the solemn Guanyin Temple and several distinctive botanical gardens. From a high vantage point near the temple, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Nanning city with excellent visibility. In addition, the Sino-Thai Friendship Garden and the ASEAN Friendship Garden are also located here.

Wherever we travel, we always make it a point to try the local food, and Guangxi is no exception. With its incredible variety of dishes, we truly enjoyed many of the local specialties.

NNG to TSN, farewell YunQianGui 从南宁飞天津，告别云黔桂

Although our flight from Nanning to Tianjin was delayed before departure, the boarding and takeoff were smooth. The in-flight service was warm and professional, which made us feel comfortable despite a few patches of turbulence. However, as we neared the destination, we were notified that landing would be further delayed due to a heavy rainstorm affecting the airport. After circling for about 30 minutes, the plane touched down safely. Overall, it was an interesting experience.
This flight concludes our self-driving trip to Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi. Farewell Yunnan, farewell Guizhou, farewell Guangxi!
我们搭乘的南宁至天津的航班推迟起飞，但登机过程和机上服务都很到位，尽管有几次颠簸，全程舒适温馨。但到达天津机场附近时机长宣布，因机场上空有大暴雨会延迟降落。在围绕机场转圈30分钟后我们安全降落。这也是一次有意思的经历。
