One night only…

For our first night we stayed at the St. Regis in the Hommachi neighborhood just south of downtown. We didn’t do much that night even though the opportunity presented itself. We were happy to lay low and enjoy the comfort of the room.

Complete with a birthday cake for Tom, a visit to the bar, and a grand buffet in the morning, this St. Regis didn’t disappoint. Although I don’t think it’s a particularly Japanese experience it was a nice way to ease into the week ahead.

We didn’t unpack because we had new accommodation starting the next day. But we did wonder around in the morning and even made it to the local Gold’s gym.Read more
