Overview

We set out on a remodel this summer while we were away, so that we didn't have to live through the mess. What started this all was our goal of brightening up our space. A neighbor connected us with a designer named Marian, since neither Tom or I have the decorating gene 🥴. She is very talented and practical! While we knew we wanted to lengthen the living room windows to the floor, we thought it would be a good opportunity to paint and make other changes too -- so things snowballed from there. We replaced all of the flooring in the main area with LVP (took out tile, hardwood, and carpet), painted the walls SW Natural Tan, added a media wall and dining room accent wall, updated the lighting, painted the kitchen cabinets SW Pearly White & SW Iron Ore, added a new backsplash, updated some furniture, and added accessories.
