What a great day trip! Found our Taxi-Tour Guide Spiros outside the information center in Corfu, and He didn't disappoint. He took us to the other side of the island, with great views along the way, and placed us in a lovely cove in Paleokastritsa to enjoy the early afternoon sun.Read more

You gotta want it to get to Oia on the island of Santorini, but once you do, you are blown away by a place that is so far removed from anything you have ever seen....sensory overload to say the least!

Coming to the end of our beautiful day...a gorgeous place, a moment to savor our surroundings in a happy cafe, shopping that knew no end, and "burrowing" our way down the cobblestone switchback to make it back to the ship. Another day of monumental sights! Visiting the Acropolis was Kristie's dream and we were happy to share it with her. Our guide Natalia brought WAY more understanding and knowledge to the experience enlightening us on the Parthenon, Theatre of Dionysus, Odeion of Herodes Atticus, and surrounding ruins. The accomplishment of its creation is astounding, and I had a hard time grasping that I was in a place of Biblical proportions!Read more

A Day in Mykanos

Up with the sun to spend a short day on the island of Mykonos...another surreal Oai-like town with a maze of white littered with pretty foliage and shops. Gave us plenty of photo ops to fulfill our influencer destiny😆 Our goal was to find a beach and our taxi driver did not disappoint! We made it to another lovely spot where we were able to have a light snack and a final moment with the Mediterranean sand and sea...unforgettable!😍Read more

The final day of our cruise was a full day at sea that will transition us to our time in Rome. As per all of this trip, the weather was perfect and we spent a schedule-free day consisting of a good portion of pool time and just savoring the last of this experience! Added bonuses: Celebrating Kristie's Birthday🥳 and getting to pass by a very recently active Italian volcano!🌋 We also spent some time recounting all our many and diverse stops and experiences...we have seen SO much and we're still not done!😅Read more

Got settled into our AirBnB, after traveling from Civitavecchia, and walked around the corner on our way to dinner only to meet Mullet-dude, a person we had seen daily on the cruise-ship.😄

Our only non-perfect, rainy day of this ENTIRE vacation was the day we had to travel from the ship to Rome...we are blessed! Our Air BnB host Ricardo ushered us up to our happy apartment then we proceeded to lunch and a little rest time before an "aperitif"😆 and dinner at one of his local restaurants suggestions. Lovely way to ease into our time in Rome!😍Read more
