旅行者The Louvre and the nearby National Museum ( opens next Wednesday) look stunning. The Guggenheim is a bit more controversial.

旅行者Of course you were probably not allowed to take pictures inside... you need to please tell me in detail what was exhibited - mainly Art from local artists through the centuries or "western" Art?? That is so totally my area of research...

Smooth flight and arrived on time. Through airport in 30 minutes. Bought bus pass and straight onto an N2 bus and change over to 34. Total cost 50 cents.
Friday, visited Presidential Palace which is only used for ceremonial occasions.もっと詳しく

6:30 am. 4C, dark, cold, slight rain.
Began with a 1 km walk to the bus stop. At least things are running. Yesterday was a nationwide strike, no buses, and the airport closed.
