Bordeaux, Day Two

Today, Cathy took an early excursion to Saint Emilion and nearby winery.

I took a walk back the location where we walked yesterday and picked up some wonderful pastries for the crew.

Then we took a wine-tasting excursion to Saint-Émilion, a town in the Bordeaux wine region of France.

Here, we visited the Château Margaux, recognized as a Premier Grand Cru Classé in 1855, a prestigious classification for Bordeaux wines. The estate's history dates back to the 12th century, contributing to the legend of Bordeaux wines globally.

Then we wine-tasted at the nearby Château Siran, which has belonged to the same family for over 150 years, with Edouard Miailhe representing the fifth generation of owners since 2007. The estate boasts 25 hectares of vineyards in Margaux.Leggi altro
