    Today we took an excursion to the Rosenborg Castle.

    This Renaissance castle was built by King Christian IV in the early 17th century and served as a royal residence until around 1710. 

    The castle functions as a museum, showcasing the Royal Collections, including artifacts from Danish royal history, from the late 16th to the 19th century.

    We had the opportunity to see the Crown Jewels. The Castle is famously home to the Danish Crown Jewels and royal regalia, which are kept in special vaults within the castle and are worn by the reigning monarch on special occasions.    Læs mere
