Then a quick visit to visit Rebecca and “Trouble” on our way out of OKC.

Next stop: T.E.X.A.S.

Then to 3 score and more to see gmommy and gdaddy.

We also played 3 rounds of Mexican training which granddad won 2 games and Emily won 1.

Drove though rain to get to Eagles Nest.

Stoped by to see Ken and Lee at Graceworks then to the new build.

It’s coming along. Met Ben who is one of the contractors.

The sheetrocks are up. And they’re painting ceilings and seams. Emily wrote on the 2x4.

It’s coming along. We looked at one townhouse model that had floors, doors, cabinetry but no sink. The sink in kitchen is stainless steal. Nice ceiling fans in each room.Okumaya devam et

We were juggling cars today.

Grandad checked Emily and me at terminal D. He has 2 large suitcases (free) and I have 1 piece checked.

The flight looks full. Emily and I are on confirmed seating. So Glenn gave me the house keys ‘just in case.

Glenn has driven the Scion over to Natalie’s brothers place and he’ll she’ll use it while she’s in the states from mid November til the end of the year.

In the meantime, Emily and I are upstairs in the pretty private lounge that most people don’t know about.

Made it to GUATEMALA

We were thinking Glenn might not make the flight (he’s on a standby flight), however there were some openings!

Emily and I sat together. We ate some snack and even played “Spot it”.

About 1/2 way though the flight I went up and sat with Glenn on the exit row. We had a lengthy conversation with Karry, who was our flight attendant just 2 weeks earlier. We shared prayer requests and hope to connect again.

We made it through customs and immigration.

Chilaxing Day

Did a load of laundry. Miss Emily helped with hanging the clothes on the line.

Natalie and her friends arrived for lunch.

Then 3 games of Mexican train.

Emily played with Israel in the neighborhood. Tomorrow, Ellen, 7 year old Lucy and 19 month old Annie fly down for a 10 day visit.Okumaya devam et

We played SkipBo and worked on the computer. Emily did some class work.

Ellen arrive an hour late and stood in line for 1 hour to get through customs and immigration. Poor thing.

We headed to PriceSmart to get groceries. I fixed sandwiches for dinner.

I rocked little Annie to sleep. We borrowed a pack n play for Annie and she’s sleeping in our closet.

Ellen is so happy to be back in a Latin culture.Okumaya devam et

We had a relaxing day, as it was a holiday.

Ellen did homeschooling with the girls in the morning. They played outside with their new friends.

Glenn grilled hamburgers and we ate out on the patio.

We took a tuk tuk to the public boat ramp then a boat to Casa del Mundo.

We had a delicious smoothie and omelets.

We had a relaxing morning at Casa del Mundo.

The girls enjoyed discovering all the little trails. Ellen read to them and they play some games while granddad swung Annie to sleep in the hammock. She slept 1.5 hours and I slept 45 min.

The boat ride back was pretty rough.
