Baltic Sea Circle 2024

We'll start of with driving to the start location in Hamburg. A 550 km journey using the highway to get there. It should take about 6-7 hours to get there. It will be the first long drive since the vehicle is 'ready'. Let us introduce our vehicle.

One of the vehicles in our fleet, our Mercedes ML W163, is a tribute to the best film from the Jurassic Park franchise, Jurassic Park The Lost World. It has been created for the sole purpose of seeking adventure. Rallying in the most inhospitable area's existing on this planet (and taking out some trash every once in a while). Of course the AAV (All Activity Vehicle) is fully prepared on encountering all kinds of dangerous dinosaurs and other wildlife. The bars on the rear and side windows make sure non of the occupants will get harmed during the adventure. The steel bumpers and brush guards make sure also the vehicle is protected during an encounter.

In the front you will find a powerfull winch, making sure that in the event of getting stuck somewhere, you will able to get the vehicle to safety. The roofrack is a convenient place to mount some extra equipment, in our case a spare wheel, shovles and some extra fuel. Propulsion of this AAV is created by a 3.2 liter V6 Mercedes engine, producing 218 horsepower. The 5-speed automatic and permanent 4-wheel drive help you getting to your destination.

The LED spot lights in the front steel bumper and on the mirror-housing make sure you see every detail in front of the vehicle. To be able to detect possible treats to the rear and sides of the vehicle, the AAV has been equipped with remote controlled search lights on the roof. The search lights can rotate 360 degrees, 45 degrees up-and-down and have a wide beam to make sure you see what is approaching the vehicle in dark conditions.

The comfortable leather interior has all the creature comforts for the occupants to arrive to your destination without any fatigue. The car is equipped with the latest infotainment system, making sure that, even in the middle of nowhere, you can watch your favorite movie ;-) Czytaj więcej
