    Back to Blighty

    Shuttle Bus to Santorini Airport for a long queue wait in the sunshine. Fortunately an attendant spotted Hattie and we were shunted to the front of the queue.
    Big Win!
    We met a lovely lady in the airport and she also visited us on the plane - "Naren". Amazingly friendly and extrovert. Guessed she may have been a media personality and it turns out she played "Nala" in the Lion King in London.
    A bit of an expedition in cramped quarters (5 suitcases, 4 people plus baby, hand luggage, stroller and portable cot in a Nissan Pajero) to Ross-on-Wye to see Linda and Denise.
    We chatted till 1am and fell into bed for a well earned sleep.    Okumaya devam et

    Ross on Wye

    Two lovely days and 3 nights with Linda and Denise. What wonderful hosts.
    A welcome sleep in after the previous long day was followed by a visit from Kristy, Matt and Hattie. Linda took some fantastic photos of Hattie playing with Teddy Bears on the floor of her lounge room.
    A walk through Ross on Wye and a pub lunch at The Royal - if Kim had been hungrier she could have had her long awaited Steak and Ale Pie!
    No. 3 Restaurant for Dinner - absolutely perfect - one of the finest reasonably priced restaurants we have ever been to.
    Road trip the next day to Broadway and Bourton on the Water. Quaint villages with pubs, cafes and shops. The weather went from warm bright sunshine to cold wind and rain - fortunately the former for most of the day.
    Home for Moet, red wine, beer and some fantastic ante pasto - chatting till late in the night.    Okumaya devam et

    Homeward Bound

    Up early for Linda and Denise to drive us to meet KMH at Painswick. Then 4 hours driving to visit Jo and Bear at Charlwood (near Gatwick Airport). We feasted on antepasto, wine and beer - thanks guys! Bear drove us to Gatwick and we caught a shuttle to Heathrow. Qantas Lounge still being built so we spent a few hours in the Singapore Airlines (Silverkris) Lounge. Then cattle class to Sydney via Dubai. Not the greatest way to finish a fantastic holiday - maybe first class next time.Okumaya devam et
