On our way to Oregon, we stopped at a little town called Weed, located right next to Mt. Shasta. They really knew how to get the tourists in with that name xD

We crossed a bridge and now looked across the river from the other side, towards Oregon. Now it was time to find a path into the mountains, because we wanted to be further away from big cities andLæs mere

We found a tiny road into the forests and before a last quick stop in Trout Lake to refill our gas, we took a street nearby and around Mt. Adams.

The trip through the forest started off great. We arrived at a beautiful waterfall which looked great during sunset.

What we didn't know, the street continued being a gravel road. Our navigation tried to guide us all the way around this road until it was "too late", but it was definitely an experience :D

We made it all the way up, even a little further north than Seattle. After driving through almost the whole night, we had a (tired) but rewarding morning!
