Bridger's First Hike

Raven Rock Trail in Coopers Rock State Forest, West Virginia!

We all had a blast on this hike but especially Bridger! She got to be off leash for most of it because she is doing so well with her recall training (i.e. we bribed her with shit loads of turkey 😜)

Interesting rocks, cool streams and neat view at the end, all around 10/10. Good job WV.Les mer

Rooftop storage is great! It's super convenient and allows bridger to have almost the whole trunk. But roof storage does NOT include leaving your folder of important documents on the top of the car and then driving away down the highway, as it leads to stressful nature sightings like this one...Les mer

Eventually we will take pictures of us and not just Bridger. But in the meantime - she's just so damn photogenic!!!

Also - the mini boxes of breakfast cereal eaten straight from the box 🥰🤩🥰🤯 anyone else remember those?!?! So good!

Full of geese (and of course goose poop as bridger was happy to remind us) and amazing Missourian camp stewards who drive around in golf carts to scare off said geese and then tell stories about racoons getting into deep fryers (yes a lady brought one camping), eating half the fat, and then being found "deeead" on the ground next to it in the morning, all in the most excellent Missouri accent I've ever heard....
