Finally finding peace

I finally discovered another hidden "lagoon" - not as beautiful as the big and popular one, but at least I was on my own on the way there and also at the place itself. Once back in town, I needed to take shelter in a restaurant across the river from which I could see the sun set behind the many clouds. Altogether I did enjoy the visit, although I could definately have done without the many tourists.もっと詳しく

Leaving Van Vieng

I had booked my bus ticket to Vientiane at a time which allowed me to enjoy another morning with the view of the rice fields. I even managed to exercise. Then I had a hearty late breakfast in the city center before I went on the 4-hour-bus ride to Vientiane.もっと詳しく

Night time in Vientiane

I arrived just after sunset in Vientiane and was happy to see that my hotel was very close to the bus stop. Unfortunately, my booking hadn't gone through and the hotel was booked out so I was taken to another place. Turned out, it was very nice as well. Later I went for an evening stroll throught along the lively streets of Vientiane, explored the stores and had one last yummy, authentic and extremely cheap Indian meal.もっと詳しく

Early morning in Vientiane

I woke up way too early, so I decided to go for an early morning stroll. The weather was fantastic and so were the impressions I got of the capital of Laos. It's a place I can definately imagine coming back to.もっと詳しく
