BRAGA! "The Rome of Portugal"

Braga is the 3rd largest city in Portugal.
In 2012 it was the European Youth Capital, in 2020 it was included in the Top10 of happiest cities in Europe and in 2021 it was nominated as the best tourist destination in Europe.
The historic center stands on a 1st century Roman settlement and for this reason the city is called the Rome of Portugal. The city is also home to the Universidade do Minho.Read more
