Te Baku Citadel/Castle

The Castle of Baku, also known as the Baku Citadel, dates back to the 12th century and was used as a military fortress and command center.

Among the narrow streets of the citadel, there are watchtowers, ancient palaces, and beautiful buildings. The medieval style of the area contrasts with the modernity of the rest of the city, especially the Flame Towers visible in the background.
