    The Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center is named after the former president and father of Azerbaijan’s current president.

    The entire futuristic-style complex was designed by an Anglo-Iraqui architect un 2012 and houses various conference halls, libraries, and cultural spaces. The same architect also designed the MAXXI museum in Rome and CityLife in Milan.

    The building has a fluid, sinuous, and uninterrupted shape, almost as if it emerges from the ground.
    The structure is impressive and beautiful, entirely built using steel, glass, and concrete.
