The Waimea Canyon is the Asia Pacific Version of the Grand Canyon and there are definitely some similarities.

No trip without a nice hike. The way to the lookout was 5.3km downwards which is a little tough cause you have to go all the way up in the end. But to be honest, the views are absolutely worth it!

Well we can not always be by lucky with everything. Two lookouts we visited after the Awa’awapuhi hike to maybe see the sunset from were quite foggy but nevertheless that’s also magic.

Went surfing today while Michelle was doing the Kalalau Trail which I did end of October. Waves were rough and definitely not ideal for a short board but most importantly I had fun being in the water.もっと詳しく

Christmas decorations

After we fueled up our car and went towards the airport we found a neighborhood with nicely decorated houses. We spent 10 minutes just driving around there and admiring the decorations.

Santa Monica

Today I rented a small car and drove to Santa Monica. Drove 22km and it took me a miraculous 1 hour 45 minutes to get there. But worth it anyways.

Felt like a child again and I honestly got sooo excited when I saw Hogsmeade and the rest of the Harry Potter world.

Cool Mansion in Beverly Hills were for example scenes for Gillmore Girls were shot. From one of the many outside balconies you also have a nice view over LA. I can just imagine why so many people wantもっと詳しく
Beverly Hills/ Rodeo Drive

No visit to Beverly Hills without a quick stop at Rodeo Drive. Although all the shops are way above my budget it’s always nice to have a look.
Hollwood/ Walk of Fame
