Fabulous little rest area, peaceful location, level grassy site, bellbirdsong in the early morning (+ rooster crowing!)

Beautiful scenic drive past Somerset Dam and Lake Wivenhoe. Would have stayed but the only site we passed had no dogs allowed.

Gone bush

Off the grid bush camp. No water, one unisex drop toilet with no door. Train passes around midday and comes back a couple of hours later.
First Fleet Memorial Gardens Wallabadah

Stopped at Tamworth for some essentials and a browse around the visitors centre.

A chance to do the washing, bath the dog, grind some coffee and make a loaf of bread. Caught up with some emails. Nice to see the old town again.

Ah the serenity! Camped at the Pony & Tennis Club. Nige enjoyed some prospecting and I enjoyed the peace & quiet.

Nigel took me out to an old long-forgotten graveyard he discovered in the bush while he was prospecting. A couple of the headstones were very clean, but most had fallen into disrepair.
