Day 38 Bristol to London

Cloudy day but not cold as we packed for London. Nice coffee and pastry down the road.
2.5hr drive to Wimbledon...traffic flowed, lots of roadwork, coffee stop at Reading, phone call to our host as we couldn't find the place and violá, here we are in South Wimbledon. The apartment is lovely and on the ground floor for the first time.
After a well earned late lunch, Peter and Chris returned the car to Gatwick airport while Janet and I shopped, washed and spoke to Jan Cook about tomorrow. Gin and tonics were enjoyed and well deserved in the evening.Read more
