Melbourne!

A great 5 days in Melbourne, Australia’s city of sport, culture and Yarra Valley wine.🍷! 🎾 📚
We had 2 tennis filled days and late nights at the Open, only surviving 9 minutes in the sun ☀️ before making new Aussie friends in the shady seats! Spent time exploring the arcades, architecture, streets, had coffee and sampled fab food as well as cooking for ourselves in our spacious apartment.

We hired a car 🚗 and took to the Great Ocean Road for 2 days, with the views of the sea contrasting with the ruggedness of the Great Otway National Park. With miles of golden beaches, crystal clear turquoise sea and kangaroos 🦘 hopping out roadside, the drive was stunning. The highlight being the 12 Apostles (actually 9) limestone stacks in the sea and multiple viewpoints along the way.

Next stop Sydney 😎 to stay with Vanessa (Lynne’s friend from primary school!) for more adventures and to celebrate Australia Day on 26th January. 🐨🇦🇺🎆
