    Post Louvre Injury for Mathai

    July 21, 2024 in France ⋅ ☁️ 26 °C

Upon leaving the Louvre, we discovered a room for kids which included a mini race track. Judah and Mathai raced it, of course. On the way back, Mathai's hand smacked into a sign as he was cruising along at full speed, and it left a deep cut on the back of his left hand.

Mathai was transported by ambulance to a children's hospital with Susanna and Aaron. He received amazing care, which included surgery with an orthopedic surgeon. We are grateful they took the injury seriously and gave him the care he needed.

Judah was in good hands with Jeff and Britt and his cousins, so thankfully didn't have to spend hours at the hospital.

Mathai was back on his feet within a few hours of the surgery. Although he must endure a bandage for the next few weeks, he is otherwise doing great.
