    Kronborg Castle

    July 30, 2024 in Denmark ⋅ ☀️ 21 °C

This castle is famous as one of the finest castles of the Renaissance - on the UNESCO World Heritage List - and is immortalised as Elsinore in Shakespeare's play Hamlet. It's located at the narrowest point between Sweden and Denmark, and the Danish royalty taxed and controlled those waters for 400 years. The location was very kid friendly with activities and space for kids to play - a contrast to our experiences in France where they were often sushed!Read more
