Excellent Adventure Road Trip

Keri and I will be renting a car & hitting all the National Parks we can from Austin to Seattle. Chris will be riding the CDT (Continental Divide Trail) & meeting up a few times along the way. We'll rejoin in Seattle at the end & fly back home! Les mer

    Pike Place Market

    We spent the morning at Pike Place Market. We saw some fish being thrown. We sampled some flavored honeys, pastas, basalmic vinegarettes, cheeses, and chocolate cherries. The line for the original Starbucks snaked down the street, so Chris & I got coffee elsewhere, and Keri had tea & a crumpet! Keri and I bought some handmade sea glass jewelry. Then we had chowder, fish & chips for lunch. Now we're off to the Museum of Flight.Les mer

    Seattle, day 2

    We took the ferry from Ryan's house back downtown this morning to the Seattle Aquarium. It was ok, but nothing great. After that, we had lunch back in Pike Place at Copacabana. Then we checked out the Chihuly Garden and Glass at the base of the Space Needle, which was very cool! Finally, we stopped by Kerry Park for some pics of the Seattle skyline. Now we're headed back to Corey's house to repack/clean out our car before we fly back to Austin tonight!Les mer
