Day 55 - Pobena to Castro Urdiales

After a lovely evening in Pobena we were up and ready to continue walking around the coast. We were sad to leave our lovely room 🥰

Day 56 - Castro Urdiales to Rioseco

We awoke and breakfasted at Rosa’s our host, I think she enjoyed her bowl of Simon’s soup.
We then headed out to the information booth at the harbour to a sparkling sunny sea vibe.

Day 57 - Rioseco to Laredo

We had a wonderful breakfast in Rioseco then set off confidently on our coastal walk to Laredo. Initially we had to walk back on ourselves towards the coast, then we hit a woodland path towards theBaca lagi

We were up and off to find breakfast in a local bakery before setting off on the long promenade walk to Noja.

Today was a kind of rest day as we were getting a bus in and out of Santander to avoid any further urban sprawl nightmares!

We awoke to a sunny day in our lovely hotel and were provided with a very nice breakfast.
Once again on the road, however the breeze from last night had vanished.

The day was overcast and mizzly, however we stepped out bold in our t shirts!

We woke to a dry and bright day. The hotel offered a basic but enjoyable breakfast. Then we were back on the road.

We had a good sleep and didn’t come to til practically 8 due to very good windows and noise control. After some searching found an excellent bakery for breakfast.
