We stopped at a Chinese cemetery with beautiful plots that I am told are expensive. Interestingly, our guides said that the Chinese are starting to use cremation (like Thais) since it is cheaper.
Fish Farming

Bridge part 2

This morning, on our way out of Kanchanaburi, we visited the bridge on the river Kwai. There is also a little market that we had fun shopping in. Tasting dried jackfruit too.
Beach Time!

Boating Begins

Mushroom Farming

The students are at a very rural family farm where they produce mushrooms. Right now, in town, they can get 100 baht per kilogram, which is a bit less than three dollars for 2.2 pounds. The students Czytaj więcej
Ao Manao

We are now a little bit further north and on a military base where there's a big beautiful hotel and nice beach. Still, this is not one of Thailand's best beaches, but it's attractive and you see the Czytaj więcej

Roasted Bugs

Walking Street

Duskey Leaf Monkeys

This morning we visited a park that is home to a large group of dusky leaf monkeys. As you see, they are used to being visited and fed by hand. The babies are bright orange but will turn in color as Czytaj więcej
Khao Ta Mong Lai Forest

We are at a beautiful area where locals come to harvest oysters and catch crabs. You can see the fishing boats in the low tide. They go out at night and return very early morning.

I forgot to post about our breakfast which was a big bowl of noodle soup with either pork or chicken in the weekend market. Very cheap breakfast but delicious.
