We went on a hike to see the waterfall.

Finished the day with great food, including the famous mango and sticky rice. Then the B&B owner offered to take us into the city to check out the mall and clock tower.

We browsed around the park.

We took a bus over to Chiang Mai.

We visited The Museum of Lord Buddha Relics and The Holy Monks relics
Lantern festival

We took a bus out to a field to be a part of the lantern festival.

We released and watched all the lanterns fly away.
Parade set up

I wandered the city and got to see them set up for the parade.

I watched the parade. A bunch of floats and performers. So many people crowded in the street
Elephant Jungle Sanctuary

We got to the sanctuary and got to meet a few elephants and a baby.
Elephant medicine

They had us help make the elephants daily medicine and cut up some bamboo for them to eat.
Bathing with elephants

They allowed us to put some mud on the elephants and wash it off them as well if we wanted.

We visited Doi Sutep.

Bangkok

We flew back to Bangkok.
Grand Palace

We visited the Grand Palace. I had to wear my sari wrap to go over my pants, since women could not wear tight clothing.

Reclining Buddha

Next we went to see the Reclining Buddha (Wat Phra Chetuphon). It was huge!
Wat Arun Subdistrict

Afterwards we took a boat across the river to go to Wat Arun. We finished our day finding food on the streets of Bangkok.
Floating market

I took a day trip to go see the floating market.
Train Market

I also got to see the train market. How the market folds up and just enough space for the train to pass.
