Day 1: Chicago

Exhausted and staying a little outside of Chicago in Hillside, my hotel is convenient and cozy. Tomorrow I travel to downtown....either by taxi or train. Need an american simcard and a new suitcaseЧитать далее
Day 2: Chicago (flood/Little Italy)

First the positive thing: Little Italy was nice and the food was excellent. Haven't seen any Mafia guys though.
In the later afternoon a torrential rainfall started, causing floods and huge problemsЧитать далее

Strolling through the city, I found the famous Buckingham fountain, known from the 80's tv-series "Married with children" (Al Bundy).

Day 4: Mauston (Lake Geneva)

Visiting Lake Geneva :-).
There seem to be a lot of Swiss descentants. Beside the New Glarus beer I also spotted several advertisements for cheese. Wisconsin seems to be a Swiss colony... ;-)

Day 6: Minneapolis (ST: Exhibition)

Accidentally found this Star Trek exhibition in the Mall of America. Some great stuff here...but not really worth the 17 bucks entrance fee. However, I don't regret visiting it.
For all the criticsЧитать далее
Day 6: Minneapolis (Gluek's)

Visiting the cemetery on Mount Moriah, where Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane and Seth Bullock rest in peace (among others, of course).
