Bye bye Beautiful India 🥹, Hello Bangkok

After being awake and travelling for over 24 hours I reached Bangkok; in the sweltering heated thickness of its humidity in my Indian dress proudly adorned, long sleeves and all, I came fuzzy headed and foggy eyed and ready to explore.

My friends, who have been here already a few days, were happy to lead me around to a temple, through the bustling market and food stand strewn streets, down the dark stinky alleys of sketchy 10 Baht bathrooms, and through the China Town madness. We sampled plenty of little goodies from various vendors, sharing bites of deep friend veggies and squishy rice based sweet filled pastry things and juices and smoothies galore!

Our hotel has a „stuck in time“ retro feeling, in the classiest of ways. There is a gorgeous garden and pool area, a tiny oasis in the busy city.

My first day in Thailand has been exquisite- but I’m excited to take off again tomorrow, despite the lack of true rest between travel, to enjoy island life for the next 3 weeks 😃Baca lagi
