The road weaves drunkenly between multiple mountains. They tower over you a couple hundred feet. Visibility is just 100 feet to the next bend.

This is the Crazy Cow Cafe in Beaver. Yes, Beaver. I'm pretty sure many bumper stickers are sold in this town.
Skiing apartment place

Its 35 and flurries. It will be 45 and showers at the train ceremony. This is the view from walmart. I'll try to take more pictures of the roads and towns.

One thing i noticed about utah... clean clean clean. Everything's really tidy and in its place. In the towns around here (provo, orem, ogden) they're building houses like crazy. Not here and there, Czytaj więcej

Poor living legend, its totally overshadowed now. The weather is cool but the intense sun made it all good. Must be a couple thousand people here. The closest i could get was 10 people back. The Czytaj więcej
Lunch at Roosters

This is Rooster's Brewery. The beer is "nutty" and very good. The soup is green bean and corn, very good. The sandwich is blackened salmon. As you can see it hasn't been tried yet.
In the mountains

I took one of the small roads that went to a ski resort in the mountains. It was difficult to get pictures because the road is right up against these very steep mountainsides. Its really dramatic Czytaj więcej

The elevation here was 8735 feet. On the way back I got a shot of a community built up against a mountain, which is very common here.
Park City

I tried to take one of the residential roads up the mountain to get pictures but houses were packed in cheek to jowl and the roads became tiny one way alleys. These properties are extremely valuable, Czytaj więcej
Heber Valley

This town is awesome (in my opinion.) It has this outrageous backdrop of the Wasatch mountains in the distance and since the land here is surprisingly flat everyone has a great view. The main street Czytaj więcej

When you get to heber valley rr you can admire no less than 3 cabooses. The brown is an honest to god wood model.
Logan Canyon National Scenic Byway

The Bear Trapper restaurant

This looks like a vacation community, houses all along the lake and scattered up the mountains. But at these elevations it must be more ice fishing than boating. The Bear Trapper was a nice place.
Travelling to Bryce

Scenic road 143

This road went up 10,500 feet into a mountain range. It was a great drive. I took it to see a geological formation like the "amphitheater"s in Bryce. But in # 3 and 4 you can see the road is not Czytaj więcej
Geology

Near the top of the mountain was this really strange geology: immense piles of broken rock. There's not a weed in them but they have lichens growing.

The pic is a big hollowed out valley like these amphitheaters they talk about, just the scenery is too big to get the whole thing.
