    We arrived at 7 :10 in Monternaud. The albergue was closed, but this elderly couple was nice to us and offered their house to us. We ate and talked to them. They were very kind.

    We played the car racing game on paper. I lost and speedy won.

    We child in the garden. The man living here gave us beer.

    The night was good. We slept well and in the morning we swam in their pool.    Læs mere

    Saint-Guilheim le-Desert

    Before entering the next village we found many berries and ate from the trees. Upon entering the village a nice man have us a free grape juice. We chilled in front of the river view.

    The village was really beautiful and looked so medievalliy. We stayed at a nice albergue and Speedy and I invented a paper game and played it. (I won)Læs mere

    We arrived in a rather big city. We bought a lot in the supermaket, Caro bought a cream for her foot and I bought hiking shoes. Afterwards we got lost and returned to the city and relaxed at the river. We ended up sleeping in a garage.Læs mere

    After waking up in the garage we ate again at the big supermarket. We tried finding the route but got lost again. Somehow we managed to get to the routr again. We climbed thr big hills and spend the entire day walking in nature. No villages inbetween.Læs mere

    Finally a village! We ate a lot of cherries from a Chery tree before the village. We made it! A beautiful albergue just for us three. The lady here was even so nice to give us dinner. It was so nice to rerelax in a bed. To shower. And to eat! Felt like paradise!Læs mere

    We ate at the albergue in the morning and walked to the next village. At around 1pm we ate at the next village and bought a few things for the way. Along the path there were books to take for free and I read a book out load for some time. They enjoyed listening.

    The path continued through mountains and beautiful nature. Really magnificint. Caroline was chanting along the rest of the path and Speedy and I were listening to music.

    I climbed up every wooden outpost to shout out yataa, well up until one of the collapsed while being on top xD.    Læs mere

    Down the hill

    It was cold in the morning and Caro decided to start walking. Speedy and I slept a bit longer and then started to walk to the next city. We climbed the hill but we lost the track and ended up climbing/sliding down the hill through the trees and ended up on the wrong side of the hill. We made it to the city and reunited with Caro.Læs mere

    Cold night

    Through so much nature we finally stopped in a small village and slept under the stars. Really beautiful.

    Before falling asleep we watched a battle between a snake and a cat not far from us. The cat seems to have won.

    I woke up sometimes during the night. It was freezing. But my attitude was very simple and accepting:
    Wenn es kalt ist dann ist es kalt

    Lake day

    In the morning Caro left to the next village because it was very cold. Speedy and I woke up with the sun. It felt really nice as the coldness disappeared.

    We met up with Caro and she told us that she was in this village at 6am and the pilgrims she met before were there and let her into the Gíte in which she could rest and eat breakfast. Speedy and I bought stuff from the shop and we ate at a bench near the river. The Santiago way was mostly along this river in which we also swam in. In the afternoon we made it to a big lake. We chilled there and swam more. Very relaxing day. Since we were all quite tired we stayef under a roof in the next village next to a church. It rained at night but luckily we had a roof.Læs mere

    Angel

    We left our shelter in the morning and bought groceries at the next city. After a nice relaxing breakfast we continued walking. Along the way we met another pilgrim carrying 15kg. We had a picnic together the guy was so nice and gave us a beer, made us a cappuccino and other stuff. We walked together and found a nice hut with a water source outside and a fireplace inside the hut. We decided to stay there. The guy gave us even more snacks and even made a soup for all of us! He was so kind. He was French and started 3 weeks before. He carries a tent and is very well equiped, he even has a working solar charger!

    We played games together and even thought it was hard to communicate it was still very fun. We played a game called tanks and then played card games, because we didn't have cards we made cards out of paper. Later we chilled at a fire we made inside and at night we went for a small night hike. It was so cool not seeing anything when the lights were off.
    I slept on the table and the rest slept on the floor. The table was very comfortable.    Læs mere

    Paradise

    We had coffee in the morning thabks to he guy we met. His name is Coco.
    We walked and bathed in a lake nearby. The rest of the way Coco and us were seperated, but we met again in the last village of today. We had a nice dinner and he appeared. We chilled and set our sleeping spot next to a church on the top of the hill, having a nice view on the village and the stars. Coco made us try a French speciality of this area which was really good.     In the morning we arrived at a lake we swam in. We passed through many villages throughout the day but walked most of the way in a nice trail with many crystal rocks. We arrived in the big city with Coco and decides to stay in a hotel since there were no Gítes nearby. It felt so amazing to have a shower!!Læs mere

    Teleportation to Toulouse

    In the morning we decided to take a bus to Toulouse. We said oyr goodbyes to Coco and found a good bus to Toulouse. We explored the city and as it got late we looked for a place to stay. We asked in a church, there is no Gíte in Toulouse however this nice man invites us to stay at his place for the night. We bought some food and after the man finished work we went to the metro and traveled to his apartment. The men is very kind and we spend the evening talking a lot. We had many interesting philosophical talks and talked a lot about religion. The men's name is Richard and he was atheist for most of his life but converted to Christianity later in his life.Læs mere

    In the morning we talked a bit more with Richard. It's fascinating all the stories he told us. We started walking and after a breakfast we found sakos next to a donation bin. We decided to try then on and pilger with sakos. Then we also found a shopping cart whon we called Rudolf. We used Rudolf to carry our bags and decorated Rudolf with flours and other items while walking. At 4:40pm we stopped at Aldi to eat linner (dinner + lunch).Læs mere

    In the morning we ate breakfast and walked a while. At lunchtime we asked a women if there are shops in the village we were in. However she told us that all shops are closed at this time. She invited us to get house and gave us lunch. They were a kind elderley couple. Wafter we accidenrlt took a wrong path and made an entire cycle through around the village. In the evening we were looking for a shelter and a musician adviced us to stay at a barn and showed us the place were we slept. In the eveninf we played our very own card game. The night was alright. A cat slept on speedy's feet.Læs mere

    Muddy Feet

    It rained all morning we ate at a supermarket and met two elderley women walking the Camino. They had light backpacks the husband of one of the woman waited for them every few kilometers with a car with many resources. They offered us coffee and met them mang more times along the day. In the evening I bought a bottle of wine for dinner and we ate together. After a short card game we tried to sleep. I found it hard to fall asleep on the hard floor.Læs mere
