    September 23, 2018 in Kazakhstan ⋅ ⛅ 23 °C

Being at the grave of this prominent sufi of the past - Ahmed Yasawi - I've learnt that something I was doing being a kid in order to scare my school mates - piercing my cheeks with a needle - is sorta some Sufi rituals... Viva, Shamz at-Tabrizi, viva!Read more

  • Kaindy Lake

    September 24, 2018 in Kazakhstan

A tad eerie place - as if someone put a good deal of spikes in the middle of the lake and they're waiting for the heads. In fact, it was a hollow with impenetrable forest called "witch valley", people avoided that place. Around 100 years ago a strong earthquake caused a landslide that made a natural dam and all spruces are still in the same place - barren and dead above the water and still with branches and needles below the surfaceRead more

Welcome to Kyrgyzstan - land of welcoming people and terrific landscapes...
When I heard about this Fairy Tale Canyon I didn't take it seriously, but on the way from Bishkek to Issyk Kul lake decided to alight the bus. Walking down the track didn't promise anything super-beautiful but when I turned one of the corners I found all this beauty - not surprising why this canyon got its name🤗Read more

  • Ala-Kul

    September 30, 2018 in Kyrgyzstan

Done It! Despite all advices not to go due to the weather conditions and recently fallen snow that clogged the mountain ridge pass... Done It! Despite all the laughes into my back that 1 day is not enough... Done It! Despise all wry looks at my footwear (again - what matters is not what you wear on your feet, it's how you use your feet lol). Done It! And reward is - terrific Ala-Kul lake! Elevation of viewpoint is 4003m, the lake is at 3560m, 45km hiked, from 9am till 10pm
Nothing like mountains can test your spirit and your endurance!

    October 16, 2018 in Greece ⋅ ⛅ 21 °C

Everything happens for a reason. Even if we don't know it, it still exists. 5 years ago I was not let in to EU without any explanation while having a valid visa. And it happened in Athens 🤷‍♂️ By a mere chance, traveling to Spain I'm having a long layover - in Athens! And, look, what a beautiful welcome view I was given?Read more

Art is a product of inspiration - it's a quintessence of feelings, emotions, thoughts; it comes from these intangible "fabrics" and is destined to inspire others passing them those #emotions and creating new ones

    "She was a whore...
With crowds standing in a row
To get some pleasure in a bed
    Among the pillows...bloody red...
Kissing plump lips in wild lust
That know no hatred, nor disgust,
    Giving them all consuming pleasure
And her young body shining treasure.
    To ultimately being thrown
    With broken... every single bone.
    ...but soul intact...
    Even a #whore does have a #soul
That's holding life as a charcoal
    Shining alone in the night
With light so dazzling and so bright!
...that can't be as a body fucked..."
