  • Marrakesh Bazaar

    October 23, 2018 in Morocco ⋅ ⛅ 22 °C

My Sufi pilgrimage continues - Marrakech is a city that evokes mixed feelings: city of bazaars, spices, food, smells, horse carts, clay palaces and tourists... Hords of tourists... Yes, it's beautiful but, more and more often, my mind drifts to the south - Western Sahara - end of the roadRead more

  • Tickets Bought!

    October 24, 2018 in Morocco ⋅ ☀️ 26 °C

Marrakech is for tourist but Dakhla is for travelers - just got my ticket for 23-hour journey to where the road ends - Western Sahara - a state occupied by Morocco but still awaiting referendum according to UN resolution. Last time such a long drive was done 8 years ago in Tanzania, with @fsukharevRead more

  • Bye, Marrakech, a City of Colors!

    October 24, 2018 in Morocco ⋅ ☀️ 26 °C

Medina - Old Town - is one of the most touristic places I have ever seen, most of locals moved outside the walls leaving this Imperial Town to new nomads armed with cameras, riding motorbikes and bycicles. Inns turned into hostels and guesthouses, bazaars sell mostly souvenirs, food is pricier than in New Town. Bye, Marrakech, bye!Read more

  • You Can't Get Lost...

    October 25, 2018 in Western Sahara ⋅ ☀️ 23 °C

...If you don't care where you are. Since I got a visa to Europe, 5 weeks back, I was planning to spend a couple of months traveling around Europe but seems I took a wrong turn 😂

  • La Sarga

    October 26, 2018 in Western Sahara ⋅ ⛅ 23 °C

Was walking around this refugee camp in Western Sahara and thinking: why do we do this for others? Why are we pushing other people to live in such conditions? So we can say about generations that grow up in such camps and give life to their kids - "these people are savages and..." Hard to hear this, right? But it seems to be an ugly truth😞Read more

  • Qoran Surah 88

    October 26, 2018 in Western Sahara ⋅ ⛅ 23 °C

"Do they not look at the Camels; how they are created?"
Every creature of God is marvellous, mystical and admirable.
    Humans included.

  • Sahara

    October 27, 2018 in Morocco

Unique view of Sahara - with sand dunes, eroded mountains and saline river bed at the same time. A great spot to listen to the sounds of the world and contemplate the view. Here you realize how small you are, and that you are no different from anything else in this world. One day you vanish and become one of those sand grains, and short-lived memory about you will be taken away by windRead more

  • Fes

    October 29, 2018 in Morocco ⋅ 🌬 9 °C

After a long journey through Western Sahara it's time for indulging myself - with hot shower, food, and staying in a charming hostel - isn't it a beautiful place to stay for a few nights?😉

  • Fez Tannery

    October 30, 2018 in Morocco ⋅ 🌬 15 °C

Famous leather tanneries of Fes - foul smells, mesmerizing colors and greedy Moroccans... Unfortunately... But definitely it's worth visiting once!

  • Rabat, Morocco

    October 31, 2018 in Morocco ⋅ 🌬 16 °C

It's so weird to see empty streets in Fes during the day and don't hear locals saying "It's closed" when it's open, "There is no passage" where there is, "Don't go there" without any explanation why, "I can help you" while you tell them that you don't need any help yet they keep following you. After having traveled to so many places, I can say that Moroccans are the most annoying folks I ever met. Very unfortunate that they behave this way ruining the image of hospitable and welcoming people as they were considered🙁Read more

  • City-Too-Blue

    October 31, 2018 in Morocco ⋅ 🌬 9 °C

Traveling is not only reaching a place, it's also enjoying the way, and experiences. And very often - magical experiences... For the last couple of days I have been nagging about annoyance on the streets, and what happened? It happened that I arrived to Chefchaouen at very antisocial time, at 5am, and it was raining. So the entire city was for me only, and no one else😉 Perhaps, universe is telling me - stop complaining, bitch!Read more
