Another off-piste walk, across the hills from Sobrado to Melide. Not too difficult and only 17kms.
We're back on the busy Camino Frances, but in a very quiet little albergue.

We walked about 25kms today, along a mix of roads and forest paths. It was a bit hillier than we expected, but not particularly difficult.

Santiago - we've arrived!

We reached Santiago this afternoon. We're very tired and looking forward to a lie in tomorrow morning.
This has been a great adventure! I'll post some more photos tomorrow.

The Cistercian monastery at Sobrado this morning.

Pulpo - boiled octopus, and a specialty of Melide. I finally plucked up the courage to try it. Didn't love it, didn't hate it.
