• Camden Market

    October 16 in England ⋅ ☁️ 14 °C

The Camden markets are located in the historic Pickfords stables - previously a horse stable and hospital. It is north of the Hampstead Road Lock of the Regent's Canal (popularly referred to as Camden Lock). Known for products sold on the stalls, including crafts, clothing, books, bric-a-brac, and fast food. It is the fourth-most popular visitor attraction in London, attracting approximately 250,000 people each week. This developed from a small weekly craft market in 1974. Chain stores are not permitted in the market where you will find an incredible variety of clothing, art, jewelry, Gothic/Punk/Steampunk items, vintage and retro items and too many ethnic streetfood vendors to mention! The sights and sounds ... and smells... are amazing and a bit overwhelming. I love this part of London - the short bits of time I can spend here before my brain short circuits 🤯 It's a light day today, and tomorrow we move to our trailhead! 🥾🇬🇧Read more
