A Final Twist; Yellow Fever

After 12 hr in a bus, a great dinner with my cousin, Carlos and waiting for checkin at 2 am the airline asked me at Checkin where my yellow fever vaccination was. Having flown to the Dom Rep for 10 years now from various destinations this was new to me. Result; missed the flight. After searching we found my vaccinatiom certificate and on a second attempt with a copy they accepted me on the next flight.

Still beyond comprehension, apparently Dominicans are expempt from this requirement. Brasil doesnt have any cases of yellow fever and neither is it checked by the Dom Rep. What a totally ridiculous issue. Anyway, got my boarding pass and waiting to go HOME SWEET HOME. Cant wait.Read more
