Rome Day 3 Escher

What a great find! We stumbled across this Escher exhibition. I'm a big fan, especially of his tessellating art. It was interesting to see his expanse of work and see how much it has been used by bands, TV shows, movies 🎬 etc. From Pearl Jam concert flyers to the Simpson's. His work was influenced by nature and travelling Spain and Italy.
There were interactive parts to the exhibition where one could place themselves in his art - had to give that go. In the perspective shot, I'm meant to look tall... I still think I look short, though!Leggi altro
